Have you tried going onto the island you want and then clicking on the chest in the right top corner that contains your backpack, customizing, etc. It'll then ask you if you want to restart the island. It worked for me. Sadly, developing newer versions of this island requires funding. Who will play these developers with no source of income from memberships? Hey Poptropica team! Will non members be able to access the classic islands? Hey, can You make half of them free, please? As a person with no debit card, I can't exactly get membership. Great, I haven't completed all of the classic maps yet so this is a great feature.
Problem is that I don't have membership. Forcing people to pay so that they can go back to their childhood islands is heartbreaking. My idea would to keep these open for everyone but keep the bonus missions member only. I like all of them. But Ghost Story and Game show are some of my favorites. I would love to see those come back. It's unfair to those who can't be members.
Why not let the people who don't have memberships play? Especially If y'all are saying that it will only be available for a few month. Like Really? Is the map on regular poptropica or early poptropica? On your map, you should see an island that says Early poptropica and that will lead you to all the other islands IF you are a member, that is Hope this info was helpful! When you click from screen to screen on the old islands, it puts you in the middle of the next screen. So in skullduggery, you can't get the doubloon under the bridge and therefore can't get past the beginning of the island. Is there a way to fix this bug?
Skullduggery was my favorite island so this is really a bummer. Well, um, I don't think this is fair that only member can play in the classic islands I think and pretty sure that people that don't have member also want play in the classic islands. I remember that I really like to play in these islands, and when they was removed, I really was sad.
I think that everyone need to play in these island- the new people and the old. The newcomers don't even know the fun, the adventure and the joy of the classic islands! Please, let us, all of us, have the pleasure of playing in these islands one more time before it's be too late. The problem with this is that you have to pay to play most of the islands. Those were cool and a good idea, idk add a premium currency to go alongside Credits, maybe members could use a filtered game chat instead of the bubble chat, members could host parties at their treehouse or bring their friends into exclusive new Multiplayer Islands. It makes sense to put these islands behind a paywall when there otherwise isn't any major incentive for the team to maintain these islands for everyone. Nostalgia can only take you so far. It sucks that this is happening while so many folks are out of a job, but complaining won't get these islands out any quicker.
I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm just grateful this game is still up and playable. So many of the games of our childhoods have been closed because people lost interest. Please don't let Poptropica join them. You are completely right! Yes, lots of people are struggling financially, but getting to play the classic islands doesnt cost much. If you are struggling financially then why would you spend money on a childrens game and not taking care of yourself. As for converting, I am really glad that you decided to do that. But if you can, I know this would take a lot of time, but I hope, hope, hope that someday, every old island will be back on the map. I don't think this is just me But why only membership players get to play the older islands! I remeber as a kid playing mystery train island, wild west, and others.

Please return to how the website was a couple of years ago. Daily questions, tribes, special tribal common rooms, photos for every island, and the ability to view your and your friends' achievements. I hate the sticker-wall You can't do practically anything on there without having a membership. So please, return the home page to the old design and make all of the old islands available for everyone. Some people can't afford it and would have to use the money to buy other things.
Like food, clothes, etc. Everyone loves the game, but not everyone can get a membership, especially during these times. Not to mention the cash the're using to keep poptropica going without Flash.
